Rainbow and brown trout. Both species were introduced to New Zealand in the 1860s from America and Europe. Fly fishing, spinning, casting, and trolling. Our most popular spot is the area around Lake Taupo.

Hunting is not only exciting, but also beneficial to agriculture - turkeys are a real nuisance to local farmers!
